Trillium Partners
Seattle, Washington
Family-owned real estate company

We make it easy to step away from the property you've run for years.

Trillium Partners is a small, family-owned real estate company based in Seattle. We buy property straight from the people who own it, work out a price and terms that fit what you need, and take care of the handoff so you can step back.

When you call, you reach Skyler Bissell, the owner, who looks at your property, makes the offer and signs the papers.

How a sale with us works

  1. Call or write to us.

Tell us about your property and what you want out of a sale: the price, the timing, what happens to the people who rent from you, or anything else on your mind.

  2. We come out and listen.

We walk the property with you, ask questions and look at the numbers together. Plenty of first conversations happen a year or more before anyone decides to sell.

  3. You get a written offer.

It can be a straight price, or a price paid to you over time if that leaves you with more. Either way it's on paper, so your accountant or attorney can read every term.

  4. You decide when.

There's no deadline on our side.

Why owners call us

You talk to the buyer

There are no agents in the middle and no commission. It costs nothing to ask what we'd offer.

Terms built around you

Being paid over time can mean a higher total price and taxes spread across several years. Your accountant can tell you how that works in your case.

We keep what we buy

We plan to own and run the properties we purchase, and we treat the people who rent from you the way you have.

Take the time you need

Selling something you've owned for decades is a big decision. We're glad to talk now and buy later.

About Trillium Partners

Trillium Partners LLC is Skyler Bissell and family, based in Seattle. We buy a few properties at a time and look after each one ourselves.

Skyler grew up restoring properties alongside his dad in the family's home improvement business. He still loves taking on DIY projects of his own, and he likes building relationships that last in the communities where he buys.

The name comes from the trillium, a three-petaled wildflower that grows on the forest floor around Puget Sound and blooms each spring in the same patch for decades.

Questions owners ask us

Do you charge a fee or commission?

No. We're the buyer, so there's no fee to us. You'd pay the usual seller-side closing costs, like Washington's excise tax and title, as you would in any sale.

Can I sell and get paid over time?

Yes. With seller financing you receive monthly payments with interest instead of one lump sum. Some owners want the steady income, and some want to spread the tax across years. We put every term in writing for your accountant or attorney to review.

Do you buy property that needs work?

Yes. We buy as-is, so you don't need to fix or clean anything up first.

How long does a sale take?

We set the closing date together once we agree on terms. If you need months to sort things out, that's fine with us.

Are you real estate agents?

No. We buy property for our own company and don't list or market property for anyone else.

Where do you buy?

Across Washington, from Puget Sound to the east side of the state.
